The worldwide vibrant fun of The Color Run is coming to Sunshine Coast! Happening October 11, 2015 at Sunshine Coast Stadium, the day will be filled with loud colours as hundreds of people join the momentous event.
Commencing at 9am, participants will be running, diving, dancing, and all other moves they can muster as they become wet zones all throughout the four colour zones they will have to pass through. All colours to be used here are 100% natural, food dyed, and food grade cornstarch. But for safety precautions, participants are suggested to wear bandanas and goggles for this 5 kilometre run event.
Once the finish line is reached, runners will have to brace themselves for more ecstatic feelings in the Finish Festival. There will be DJs and fun music, and everyone will party. Then the participants will be given a colour packet which will be their tickets for the Color Throw on stage. Be part of the happiest 5k in the planet!
Want to join but you’re not a runner? That’s not a problem. The Color Run isn’t exactly a place for runners, but for people who want fun, bonding, and colours. You can run, crawl, walk, walk backwards, backflip, or anything, as long as you reach the finish line. In fact, The Color Run isn’t a timed event, so you can have quality time with your friends and family here as leisurely as you want. But of course, you can still time yourself for fun or if you want to.
Ticket prices are $66.00 for individuals 16 years and above, $56.00 per person for a group of four and above, $185.00 for a family with two adults and two kids, and free for kids five years and below. Registration to this cheerful event is until 6pm of October 10th. So hurry up, visit its website, and get your tickets now.
